John Lambert's case note on Scottish National party v The Information Commissioner 15 May 2006 |

Welcome to Intellectual Property and Information Technology Update.
This is one of the services of NIPC, the first and so far only full time, specialist intellectual property (IP) chambers outside London.
IP is the collective terms for the laws that protect investment in brands, design, technology and the arts. This site offers practical information on how to protect such investment. Information about the legal issues affecting clients in particular industries and public and private sector activities is available on the industries page, Click "Site Index" for the index to all the pages on this site.
The material for this site is being rewritten and will be regularly updated. We expect it to take several weeks to complete. If you wish to see the pages that were on nipclaw.com when we practised from Kingsgate Chambers, please click here.
Two good ways of keeping up with IP and technology generally, and changes to our websites in particular, is to sign up for email updates on the nipc IP/it Update blog or set your news reader to http://nipclaw.blogspot.com/atom.xml. If you don't know what a news reader is, you may wish to visit "The RSS Feed (Really Simple Syndication)" page on the BBC website for full details and links to some suggested software download pages.
